All of Minimum Design's products are made from Bioplastic and reclaimed wood, it is composed of a blend of recycled wood fibers and bioplastic made from corn, a 100% vegetal and Sustainable material that is completely renewable.

Minimum Design's manufacturing process minimises waste and does not use petroleum-based products.

Moreover, unlike subtractive manufacturing, which sculpt (removes) the material to create a final object, the principle of additive manufacturing is to build the object layer by layer, through 3D printing, thus limiting waste.

This technology allows the team to work on the recycling of plastic materials into design objects.

Minimum Design is an independent design studio based in the West coast of France. With a focus on bringing you modern and unique designs made from sustainable techniques and materials. Every product is made on demand in-house, allowing the brand to produce responsibly without waste.

Minimum Design use modern technology to create and offer unique intricate designs made with a unique material: Bioplastic (obtained from Cornstarch) and recycled wood in various colors. With this technique, they are able to produce new designs with a unique feel without having a negative impact on the environment.
