The Producer

Produced by a community of smallholder farmers in Neiva and Planadas, located in Colombia’s Tolima department. These farmers manage plots ranging from 2 to 10 hectares at an average altitude of 1,700 masl. Through the Tolima Grande Organic program, and with the support of partner organization Faro, they receive agricultural training to enhance sustainability and resilience against climate change. The coffee is composed of mixed Colombian varieties and processed using a meticulous washed method, including 60 hours of anaerobic fermentation followed by careful sun-drying over 15 days. By eliminating chemical inputs and focusing on soil health, farmers not only protect the environment but also produce high-quality organic coffee that can command a premium in the market, improving both their livelihoods and their land for future generations.
